Today was our Primary Activity that I put a lot of hard work into so I thought I would share some pictures. We did this same activity in our last ward. The kids all made cars out of boxes and took their cars on a journey around the church to learn about the Articles of Faith. Here is Chloe in her car...
Here they are on the road of life heading down Baptism Blvd. into the Righteous Road Block. They also made detours at the Reverent Rest Stop, the Faithful Fuel Station and the Musical Mechanic (maybe I get a little too into these things...but hey, it was fun!)
After the road trip, the kids all took their cars into the "Celestial Cinema"(gym) for a drive-in movie (a cheesy seminary video) complete with popcorn and candy. It was a big hit and a lot of fun for everyone!
Check out the Colorado vanity plates on the back of their cars! Ryan helped me create those.

Wow...that is ambitious of you! Such a smart idea. Our primary activities are usually a lot less creative.
Cute idea! Did the kids make the cars at home and bring them with them to the church? Or did they make them at the activity?
The kids bring boxes and spend the first 30 minutes making them into cars--they go to the Body Shop for headlights and taillights, on to the tire store for the tires and then to the DMV to pick up their license plates. The kids LOVE it!
Avery had a great time and loved showing me all her stuff. She and Briar have played tons in the car! Kudos to you for all your hard work, it sounds like it was a great activity!
