I then let him watch some footage online of the World Trade Center attacks. Next thing I knew, I was totally bawling. I was completely taken aback at how watching those videos brought all the feelings back. I think my kids were wondering what the heck was wrong with me. We remembered right then to go outside and hang up our flag.
Audrey wasn't in the mood for this picture, obviously...
I will always remember that day.

I was on an airplane most of the day and I did think about it. I too will always remember where I was and what I was doing. I think I stayed home for 3 days straight after it happened.
