Fun at the Zoo!

We spent all day today at the zoo. It was extra fun because we met up with aunts, uncles and cousins there and got to spend the day together. The kids enjoyed looking at all the animals and having a picnic together at lunch time. Except for some reason most of the kids were terrified of the geese and peacocks that were wandering around our picnic area. Anytime they would come close to us at all, they would all start to freak out until some of the older cousins would scare them away. Eventually they got used to the idea and began to terrorize the poor birds. Chloe insisted on growling at every animal we saw. All in all it was a great day. It was pretty sunny though, and I feel wiped out!!

Here are the kids having an ice cream break.
Me and Linky chillin' in the shade.

You can't go to the zoo without taking pictures of the animals!
The orangutan...

a bear in a tree...
and three little monkeys sitting on a wall.

Lincoln tries a new trick with Daddy.
Isaac and a camel.

The boys take a needed break.

Great picture of Evan!!
Audrey found Emily early on and wouldn't let go!

Must be nice to go to the zoo in the middle of the summer. There is no way that would happen in Phoenix, except for some crazy people that enjoy 115 degree weather
