Pumpkin Patch!

We took our second annual trip to the Osborn Farm in Loveland today for their Market Day. This year the trip was made all the better by the fact that Ryan was with us! We also met up with Aunt Katie and Rodney and saw lots of our friends there.

We hit the pumpkin fields first thing and each picked out the perfect pumpkin. It is so much fun seeing everything through the eyes of a toddler--Lincoln was enchanted by every part of the process. After we weighed and paid, Katie and I hit the antique and craft booths while Ryan took the kids on the barrel train ride. We then visited the petting zoo and had a nice picnic lunch by the pond, finished off with kettle corn and freshly squeezed lemonade. After that was some more antiquing (I got the coolest farmhouse window--I'm so excited!!) and then we went on the hay ride. The kids then rested for a bit and listened to the live music (playing a great cover of "Thriller" which is our song of the month) and we decided to call it a day. I love the fall!!!

Lincoln loved taking a ride. The girls were jealous.

In the pumpkin field...
Same place last year--and randomly, they are all in the same places!! (I will make this a yearly tradition too!)

Petting the sheep
Enjoying the music (notice as we get further into the day, the girls start looking less and less enthusiastic and more and more tired...)Yay for a great day at the pumpkin patch!!

(The girls really did have fun, I promise. For some reason this is their typical reaction when someone else is taking their picture. Even when it is their aunt, apparently!!)

You got the window! :D I can't wait to see what you do with it!

It's amazing to see how much your kids have changed in just a year--they look so different!
