Surprise visit!

Last week my mom, my sister and my nephew came to visit for a few days. I had known they were coming for a couple of months, but decided to surprise the kids and was able to keep it a secret! Due to weather delays, they didn't get in town until late Wed. night, so on Thursday morning we were all downstairs getting ready for school when all of a sudden Grammie walked in. Isaac did a double take and then ran over to give her a big hug. They were all so excited! We had a great whirlwind weekend with them. Unfortunately, Isaac was in school for most of it, but I think we all still had fun. We did a lot of shopping, spent way too much time at Paradise Bakery, went to the zoo and got to go see Isaac give a speech in his class at school. We even spent a few hours helping Ryan work in the basement! We had a great time together--laughing a lot and just hanging out. I wish we got to spend time together more often.

Here are the little cousins watching the big kids play outside. Royal is only six weeks older than Lincoln and it has been fun to watch them grow up together.

They had soooooo much fun playing on the bed together! Lincoln would bounce like crazy and Royal would laugh hysterically. I love this first picture of Lincoln because it caught this new face he likes to make.
