Lessons

Oooh, I am so thrilled with the way this new money system is going! Yes, it's only been one week, but it's been a great week!!! The kids have been cleaning and happily finishing their chores without any reminders. I'm so excited about the lessons that they are learning!

-Lincoln has spent much of his money this week on ice cream. Then he got upset when he saw how much money the other kids still have. Lesson learned!!

-The big kids were all so excited to go to a Student council fundraiser after school tomorrow--50 cents for a hot chocolate. When I reminded them that they get to pay for it, I saw all the wheels turning. Chloe suddenly decided that she would rather keep her money than spend it on hot chocolate. Lesson learned!!

-Isaac started selling the other kids DumDums (that he got for free) for $.85 each! Kudos to him for his entrepreneurial spirit, but we have since made a rule that YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FAMILY!! Lesson learned!!
