Show me the money!!

On Wednesday we finally made it to the Denver Mint. Unfortunately they don't let you bring cameras (or really ANYTHING) in with you, but I did get a great picture of the kids across the street from the Mint!

We saw tons of pennies being made and learned a lot of interesting facts about MONEY!

From there we walked to the 16th Street Mall and had a picnic lunch amid the hustle and bustle of the lunch hour working crowd.

Then we strolled on down to the Money Museum to carry on our theme for the day. It was pretty much REALLY BORING. They put on the "kids" cartoon video that explained the Federal Reserve and I still don't think I understood any of it.

Either way, upon exiting we all got $165 worth of shredded paper money. Now if we could only piece it all back together...
