Day at the Lake

On Friday we went down to Jordanelle Reservoir for a day on the lake. Here are all the older cousins on the boat with the grandparents and Aunt Amy.Lincoln loved to hang out in the shade on the shore with Grammie.

We had such a fun day at the lake. It was so windy though--at the very end of the day everyone else was out on the boat or the Sea-doos and my mom had taken some of the kids down to the shore to play. I was left with the two babies. Things were going well until a huge gust of wind came and blew our canopy up, up and almost away (luckily we had tied it to the pavilion.) The wind was so strong it snapped the metal poles of the canopy in half and blew over our wooden tables. It also scared the babies half to death, so there I was with two screaming babies and a giant metal canopy blowing in the wind. Quite the adventure, let me tell you!
