I went with Linky on his field trip to the pumpkin farm a few weeks ago and we had a great time! We started off with a little "class" where we learned about the things that grow on the farm. The lady asked the kids, "If you take a seed out of your pumpkin and plant it in the soil and give it plenty of sun and water, what will come out of the ground in the summer?" And Lincoln yelled out, "Carrots!!"
We took a hay ride out into the fields and picked out the perfect pumpkins. Then we came back for snacks and all sorts of farm fun.
