Consequences

The other day Lincoln had his bff, Katy over for a playdate. They played beautifully all day long. I didn't hear a peep out of them. I was able to get so much done. It was fabulous! Around 2:00 I told them to clean up the mess they had made and then they could watch a show. An hour later they came up from the playroom telling me that it was all clean.

I should have known something was amiss. The next morning I had to go downstairs to get something and I saw their definition of clean was a little different than mine. It was a complete disaster!!! They hadn't cleaned up at all. I talked to Katy's mom and we decided that they needed to take care of the problem. So on a busy Saturday morning, Katy had to come over and Lincoln and Katy cleaned up the whole playroom. I helped a little, but I have to say I was proud of how hard they worked. Hopefully a lesson was taught...
