Our lives have been in whirlwind chaos mode for the past few months (hence the lack of posts, yada, yada, yada.) We have been thinking about moving on and off for a couple of years now. Well, I have. Ryan just goes along with my crazy plans. But recently we found out that it happens to be a REALLY good time to sell your house in this area, and then we found a house that we REALLY fell in love with and next thing you know...
The house we fell in love with is a short sale, so we are waiting, waiting, waiting to hear back from the bank. Our house, on the other had, took basically no waiting. We had a frenzied week of getting it ready to put on the market before we went to Disneyland. We couldn't have done it without the help of some good friends who literally dropped everything, came over and went to work. When we were done it looked like this: (credit to my photographer, and good friend Becca for the pictures!)

Eleven days later we had a full price offer! Now my house is a disarray of random boxes and utter chaos (and we all know how well I function in chaos...) As I mentioned we are still waiting to hear about our short sale, so in a matter of days we will be homeless, but we aren't worried! We have places to stay and feel really at peace with our decision to sell and move--even if it means waiting. The majority of our stuff is now in storage and we are just trying to quickly get everything done before we have to be out. And then another adventure begins!!
(And I get another house to decorate!!!!!!)
